The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is a long standing visitor attraction in Fort Worth. It was opened in the 1940’s and has continued to grow and evolve with each passing year. This museum offers a great deal of interactive exhibits that are sure to please every member of the family both young and old.

The museum has an IMAX theater! It is also home to the Noble Planetarium. The museum offers so many features from private event bookings to summer school and preschool classes.  The Fort Worth Astronomical society holds regular events in the Noble Planetarium that are geared to special happenings in the sky. 

The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is a showcase of over 150,000 artifacts that range across many different genres.  Botany, herpetology, mammalogy, zoology, geology, meteoritic and other disciplines are all represented at the museum through the massive collections and exhibits.

The museum is 166,000 square feet of amazement. Every corner you turn in the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is filled with a new marvel and wonder.
